If you thought "great miracle" the next John Krasinski-Drew Barrymore romantic drama was not actually called a "miracle", you are forgiven: for a long time, it was Ken Kwapis directed the film actually known as " Everybody Loves Whales. "An appropriate title, really when the trailer for 'miracle' shows, not everyone likes whales - and they spend tons and tons of thick ice in the Arctic to save them. Look ahead. The stars 'miracle' - which also Kristen Bell, Vinessa Shaw, Dermot Mulroney, Ted Danson, Andy Daly, Tim Blake Nelson and Stephen Root - coming in theaters on February 3, just in time to enjoy the crowd pair Barrymore and Krasinski loves so much. As the whales. They all love whales.

Best Coast - "Our Deal"
As we mentioned last week in our Supervideo Sneak Peek,
I was lucky enough to venture over to sunny California to get
immediately overwhelmed by the sheer glut of what we wanted to capture.
What's not to get greedy about? First of all, there were all the sparkly
stars among them: Miranda Cosgrove, Chloë Moretz, Tyler Posey, Alia Shawkat, Donald Glover, and Shailene Woodley...I mean, cellooooo. AND THEN THERE WAS THE FASHION.
The day before the two-day shoot, we descended upon Drew Barrymore's office and rummaged through the racks and racks that the video's stylist Alicia Lombardini had called in. We're talking HEAPS. Leather and denim jackets galore, an eye-popping array of multicolored shoes, piles of glittering jewelry...all to get the cast in the potpourri of throwback eras that Drew gleaned inspiration from. The video treatment included references from West Side Story, Romeo and Juliet, and graf-CLASSIC Style Wars. Of the project, the Barrymore had a great deal of endearingly humble things to say:
“I am the luckiest person...it’s a thrill. You have a dream and a vision, and it’s just in your head until you work with other people. And it really takes this whole team to get the dream realized. Otherwise you are kinda just sitting at home in your house with a lot of dreams [laughs]...
“The style and the look of the video that I really wanted to have come alive was my love of the ‘50s and ‘70s punk rock and hip-hop. You can sort of combine all these genres and tones and bring in lots of different elements and see how they work together.”

The fashion from Best Coast's 'Our Deal' Supervideo
Alicia's inspirations were completely sympatico with Drew's intent:
“It is a mishmash, definitely. But it’s a mishmash of styles that we as a group have really responded to. We’re looking at the '50s, at the Teddy Boy style. We’re looking at early ‘80s hip-hop...but we wanted it to be timeless at the same time.” YUM.

OK, it's such a MAMMOTH COSMIC JOKE that I'm paid money to do this
job sometimes. Like, to where I called my mom JUST to tell her I have a
"business trip" that involves Drew Barrymore
and that I "can't talk right now" because I'm "on location." ANYWAY,
MTV Style's MEGA excited because finally, after many, many moons of
waiting and hand-wringing and NOT BEING ABLE TO DIVULGE IN DETAIL about
our next Supervideo,
it is here. And ain't she a beaut (totally rhetorical question obvs)?
For your eyeballing pleasure, we present the Drew Barrymore-directed
video with Best Coast for "Our Deal." It's like Romeo & Juliet, where the Capulets are this gang called The Night Creepers and the Montagues are The Day Trotters. Holy swoon. Photo: Estevan Oriol

Drew Barrymore was in the film industry since she was 11 months and became known as the daughter of Steven Spielberg classic, ET The Extra-Terrestrial in 1982.

Drew Barrymore Visits Drought-Stricken Kenya
Drew Barrymore wanted to see with my own eyes, he wanted to return to the country he grew to love and to see how he could help change the lives of women and children.
Kenya has suffered a devastating drought hours and Drew saw with my own eyes that people are struggling to feed children, to keep the cattle alive, alive. The WFP is feeding more than 3 million people in Kenya alone, and Drew is an interesting rest of the world to him: ".. We really need to strengthen our service is a disaster happening right now," Drew recently returned by the American magazine in Kenya, "Condé Nast Traveler," which featured a cover, he is also in this month. (Click here to see article).
Drew is an actor, director and producer with decades of experience in Hollywood (after all, had two years!) It is used to make important decisions. But the decision three years ago to provide U.S. $ 1000000, to ease hunger and improve education in Kenya was the most important, never did, says Drew. The challenge was daunting.
"I thought, nearly one billion hungry people, what ever I could do as an individual? It all seemed impossible." But the WFP Ambassador Against Hunger have learned what works. He likes to give the WFP school feeding program in Kenya, where he visited for the first time in 2005.
"A simple healthy meal at school is so important. I saw how it changes the life of a girl forever. And now it is so crucial safety net for these families in the crisis of drought."
Projects in recent years, it has funded have helped renovate about 25 schools around Nairobi, with all new kitchens, food storage, energy efficient kitchens and latrines for boys and girls. This summer, Drew Barrymore has used a second tranche of funds to build wells for children did not have to walk miles to get water for their meals at school. Wild animals sometimes attacked vulnerable children on the way to the muddy river.

The video directed by Drew Barrymore Best Coast is "Our Deal debuted online, and you can see below.Side Videos sees Romeo and Juliet / West Story style carries the story of the roof and around the desert landscape of Los Angeles dismissed. Video opens the text: "Two gangs ruled the streets ... One day ... the other night."Hollywood Starlet Chloe Moretz appears in the video for the latest single to be taken from the group in California 2010-album 'Crazy For You. It will to be a record of all countries. I think many people are afraid when I say that. "
50 First Dates DVD movies
50 First Dates is a very funny film and one of Sandler's best. Adam Sandler plays Henry Roth, a womanizing marine biologist afraid to commit, who falls for the woman of his dreams, played by Drew Barrymore. Unfortunately, she has a brain disorder that makes him forget everything that happened the day before when she was asleep, so that every day you need for your victory over him and falls in love again. The plot is nothing new that this film is a cross between Groundhog Day and Memento two very good movies. What makes this film work is the chemistry between Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler, and they work very well together and make fun of the film and this film is also better than Anger Management Sandler effort past. Sandler is great in this film and is one of the funniest comedians today. Drew Barrymore is very good in her role as Lucy and she makes up for horrible faces. The support team is also very good with the best that Sean Austin.
Rob Schneider plays a small role in this film, but manages to get some laughs. The last major part of the cast is Dan Aykroyd and his role is not very memorable. This film has good intentions and some sad times such as when Lucy discovers that she can not have restored his memory, or when she sees pictures of herself for the accident. However, there is also some crude humor and I think this film can appeal to all persons under 21 years. Category 8 / 10 one of the funniest films of the year and a must if you want a good comedy.

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle DVD
Charlie 's Angels: Full Throttle is a great, fun, bubble-brain mess of the film, and just as it should. Its popular predecessor, 2000 has the right formula: breath taking, disposable plots, and how many current trends in pop culture, as one might fill the candy-coated Hollywood bunch of chaos. This sequel to the proverb, "better": the plot even more disposable (if possible), girls, cars, and fashions the most bizarre, and the stunt work (heavily digital, heavily absurd) reaches extraordinary heights of cartoon silliness. Reprising their face (and shamelessly exciting) roles, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu was a time in their lives, especially when sparring ultra-passionate rogue angel Demi Moore (looking better than the 40 that most women half her age ) and Justin Theroux as a dirty Irish gangsters.
Boys On The Side DVD movies
This film takes the female bonding based soap opera and twists it inside out. Although director Herbert Ross makes excellent performances of its actors, occasionally wallows in sentimental Hollywood melodrama, with close-ups are crucial. Remember, this is the man who directed Steel Magnolias. However, Ross also does something you do not expect: he makes you fall in love with his characters. Whoopi Goldberg is a down-on-her luck singer who hopes to start in Los Angeles. Mary-Louise Parker is a real estate agent whose life is going nowhere. After Goldberg answers Parker's ad in the paper and a companion to drive in Los Angeles, these two completely different women grudgingly find themselves emotionally involved. Drew Barrymore for a picture for the first leg of the trip when Goldberg insists he visited. After battling his drug guy, moody, sexy Barrymore throws with them.
During the trek west, the women learn to take life as it lands on them while recognizing true friendship. The film is illuminated, in the sense that it accepts the complications and blurred family ties of the century 90. At the heart of the story is the realization that people can expand beyond the specified limits. The movie gels in other areas. All women in the soundtrack is powerful and overwhelming stress, some scenes. The same can be said supporting cast, especially Anita Gillette and James Remar. - Rochelle O'Gorman
Product Description .Three women, a musician from a small club and real estate dealer RELATED AFLAKY boyfriend to break with their past and form an unlikely family while traveling the country together.

Altered States DVD
Who wants to guess that one of the greatest films psychedelic, would not be released in the late 60's or early 70's, but in 1980! "Altered States" ranks up there, "El Topo", "2001" and "Performance" as the film more hallucinogenic. Do not expect anything like this trip just a pretentious film directed primarily to appeal to stoners. "Altered States" is a film that seems more and more intelligent in-depth multiple screens. It can be a head-trip film, but you do not need drugs to have fun and enjoy this film.
This is probably the best film by Ken Russell. Russell is best known for his gaudy field and over-the-top, like "Tommy" and "Devils". This is one of the most striking of his films, because for once, think too much visual inspection. And 'only during the hallucination that he remembers this is a film by Ken Russell. The effects of these sequences are fantastic, and probably the highlight of the whole movie. Acting is also a first class, if largely overwhelmed by the direction and screenplay by Paddy Chayefsky Russell.
Only problem I have is a change order. When Hurt becomes a gorilla, it will be a surreal silly. However, this is Ken Russell's film, so I think it was a small field. It 'still fun and not boring enough to reduce the overall brightness of the film.

Going The Distance DVD movies
Imagine if someone made a film about people whose Facebook friend requests regularly rejected.
You know the type: They call or text at inappropriate times, willing to give all the details about your weekend shadow miserable recent disappointments at work, the last date that had to endure terrible, or variety other topics that love to stay blissfully ignorant. When they are selfish, self-pity are, and in the rare moments when something good will happen to them, rain on their parade in overanalyzing, be convinced that this is a buildup to another disappointment inevitable.
But even if Twitter can be locked in and delete e-mails without reading, you can avoid these bad luck harangers forever. For example, you could buy a ticket to see the first real-life couple Drew Barrymore and Justin Long in "Going the Distance", which is sold as a comedy cute difficulty of long distance love. In fact, as lovely as Courtney Love and fun as a scale of six hours in Newark.
The film was directed by Nanette Burstein, whose documentary "American Teen" was an insightful look into a small town high school life. Maybe its follow-up, Burstein wanted to tackle a project that had no connection with real life. He found: "Distance" is built around the thirties Garrett (long) and Erin (Barrymore), who speak like pre-adolescents, who have just found the strength to swear when they drink too much, too often cries, and explain their "needs" too often.
They meet at a dive bar in New York City, hours after Garrett was dumped by his girlfriend to believe when she said she wanted nothing for his birthday. Erin Garrett and connect to an arcade game Centipede, jokes about "Top Gun" and "Dirty Dancing" and a powerful blend of cheap beer and marijuana, leading to a late night hook and some anxiety early in the morning all stakeholders.
But instead of developing a contemporary twist in "About Last Night", the film degenerates into a hodgepodge of toxic convincing raunchiness (which is the most uncomfortable Barrymore actress when she is called to render a storm?) And pseudo-serious they can "talk about our relationship-ay-ay-ay-relationship" moments that are tailor made for a relaxing holiday or long trips in the entry hall table. As in the worst romantic comedies, to express love is much less important than constantly barking in the mechanics of being in love, trade rules of the agreement and complain at length about everything under the sun and moon.
Geoff LaTulippe script is no longer a feeling of when it comes to professions Erin and Garrett. Work in the music world, which seems to alt-rock, sub-activities of the Sub Pop, but it is presumably driven to sign a threesome Teen cuties, which can be "the next Jonas Brothers." He stages the fictional New York Sentinel, where you turn the machine publishing stories that corrects his cards with red label and strictly hands it back to him, apparently so that he can take the room Linotype for inclusion in a tabloid weekly § with Nellie Bly latest shows and the last column Dear Beatrice Fairfax.

Skipped Parts DVD
Ignored parts, or Wonder of the sex of her title in the UK, is an absolutely charming gem of a film.
I was completely engrossed in the story of age, which is very rewarding for the viewer, offering a good script, solid direction and acting wonderful.
Unconventional relationship with her mother and her teenage son freed one hand, and his occasional lover of India, on the one hand and the unconventional friendship by his son and his "girlfriend" to find a sexual (which leads to pregnancy), all of this is described in the course of treatment, and the apparent simplicity, but without being judgmental. That's why it works so well.
Acting is top notch! Jennifer Jason Leigh proves once again that not only is one of the best actresses around today, but that she chooses her roles well. Bug Hall and Mischa Barton (who in turn does an excellent job in TV time) are very promising for talented players.
The attitude of adolescents about sexuality is delightfully naive and sometimes funny. When Barton character remain at the place of Sam after her pregnancy (her father did not approve of what happened) and he offers to sleep outside on the couch, she suggests charming Ina is just average .. sleep on the floor if I need you!.
The pieces you missed a very rewarding and underrated film unfortunately, that deserves to be in your collection.
